A Lightbulb Moment Inspires an Electrical Contractor to Create the Light Fixer Outdoor Lighting Accessory
Inspiration to create the Light Fixer outdoor lighting accessory struck this electrical contractor while working on a lighting job. The customer lived in a woodsy area with very rocky soil. The contractor struggled mightily in not only trying to pound mounting stakes into the ground but in attempting to level them so that the lighting fixtures would look upright.
“I recall working that job and thinking, ‘This is ridiculous,’” the electrical contractor said. He recognized that, even if he installed the stake just a handful of degrees off at the base, the taller a given light is, the more it becomes plainly visible that the light fixture is not plumb and level. The result is an eyesore that, if multiplied by many other off-kilter lights on a property, drastically degrades the appearance of a yard, field, driveway or other kind of path.
“There’s got to be some way that’s better than just mounting the light directly to the stake,” the soon-to-be Light Fixer inventor thought. This lightbulb moment inspired this man to dream up a remarkable solution that would save landscaping companies, lighting companies and even homeowners themselves from money and labor expenses in trying to level their light fixtures.
The Light Fixer—the Ultimate Outdoor Light Fixture Accessory—Solves the Problem Off-Kilter Lights Present
In less than 3 minutes, most professionals can precisely align a light fixture using the Light Fixer’s threaded pivot ball, which fastens to a mounting stake, and cap, which is threaded onto the bottom of the light. The light fixture’s position is securely locked using the cap and four provided screws.
